I studied 3 years with Kaweesi at Makerere University. He was a disciplined and quiet student. Calm! When I was elected Guild President and he Private Students Association Chairman, we agreed to resist strikes and never to lead any. Indeed there was none during our term of office. We decided to engage the University administration and government on students’ concerns. The last time I saw Kaweesi, he had his children at Cafe Javas. Rest in eternal peace.
