Amama Mbabazi: We had confidence in Oulanyah as a good leader who could steer Uganda in future

The former Prime minister of Uganda John Patrick Amama Mbabazi says that the late Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah was to be relied on to steer the country in future.

Speaking the media on Wednesday, the former Uganda Premier said , the late was a man of great prospects and they had confidence in him to be one of good leaders Uganda could rely on in the future.

Mbabazi said that though he was subscribing to the multiparty politics, he worked with them by the time of the movement system and was entrusted with the legal and parliamentary Affairs committee to work on amendments for the constitution in 2005.

This should be recalled that Late Jacob Oulanyah chaired the legal and parliamentary Affairs committee that amended the constitution and removed the section on presidential term limits.
