Mukono: Over 1,000 Pastors will on September 5, 2024 gather at Lebanon Christian Cathedral in Mukono to deliberate on vital issues affecting Pentecostal church leaders and followers in the country.
Love, Peace and Unity Pastors’ Destiny Forum has organized the one-day Christian Leadership Retreat aimed at offering relevant information from government and church leaders in Greater Mukono and beyond, particularly on how to access different government programs.
The pastors gathering at this retreat are expected to exchange ideas on the new challenges facing their churches, as well as the available opportunities for wealth in Uganda from government and other avenues.
“We want church leaders to receive relevant information about government programs which can benefit Pentecostal congregations. We invited relevant people from the government to share this information. We also want pastors to participate actively in agriculture and business as well as to help in the fight against corruption,” said Pastor Ssemusu Stephen, chairman of Love Peace and Unity Pastors Destiny Forum Uganda.
Pastor Ssemusu added, “We are also going to create more awareness about the ongoing security threats in the country. As well as sharpen leadership skills among church leaders, including basics in how to manage families, children and church today.”
