The Ndorwa West MP Hopeful Simon Agaba over the weekend launched the Ndorwa West MK Football tournament aimed at identifying and developing talents among the youths in the constituency.

The tournament was launched at Janan Luwum Memorial School playground in Kamuganguzi sub- County and Katwaro playground in Ryakarimira town council Kabale district.

Simon Agaba urged the youths to play with discipline as a key aspect of success. He added that aside from the development of talent, the tournament would also help to popularize core principles of the Patriotic League of Uganda –PLU whose Chairman is Uganda’s CDF Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba, the anticipated next president of Uganda after Museveni.

Mr. Simon Agaba revealed that the Ndorwa West Mk Tournament Champions will have an opportunity to play with Team MK Select from Kampala. He added that on the final day of the tournament, there will be a mouth-watering Kick-boxing show by professionals also from Kampala, to entertain the football spectators.

In addition to balls and Football jerseys given to them at the launch, Agaba announced that the winner of the tournament will be given a trophy and Ug. Shs. 1 million cash prize while all the participating teams will each take home Shs. 200,000.

He further noted that similar football tournaments were being organized at constituency level across the Kigezi Sub-region, and the plan was to merge the games into one regional competition held under the PLU.
