Renowned Hollywood star Terrence Howard has sent a special birthday message to Uganda’s First Son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
In the message, Terrence revealed that he was planning to visit Uganda so as to bring Gen Muhoozi a lasting gift.
“Gen MK, happy 48th Birthday my friend. I’m looking forward to coming down there and meeting you guys and being able to bring you a gift that will be enduring and lasting gift,” said Terrence, the lead actor in the Empire TV series show.
The star has featured in movies like Iron Man, Big Momma’s House, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Winnie Mandela, Lackawanna Blues, Ray, The Best Man, Hustle and Flow, Pride, Four Brothers among others.
On the other hand, Terrence’s near future visit to Uganda is part of government’s project to have different Hollywood stars come to the Pearl of Africa to establish collaborations with Ugandan film makers.
The project will facilitate development of the local film industry but also promote brand Uganda through exposing the American movie stars to the culture and influencing them to tell the Ugandan story.
Gen Muhoozi, the UPDF Commander for Land Forces on Sunday officially made 48 years of age and he celebrated his birthday by hosting a dinner party that was held at State House Entebbe. The dinner was attended by among others Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, First Family Members, top government officials and Muhoozi’s close friends.
