Uganda has registered a total of 49 Covid-19 deaths in a single day.
The current number of deaths now stands at 508.
According to tests done on 14 June, 2021, the Ministry of Health confirmed 1,110 new cases bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 65,631.
The Ministry says the active cases on admission at health facilities is now at 950.
“Tests conducted are now 1,217,353 and the total number of people vaccinated to date is 806,129,” Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Uganda will receive 175,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine through the covax facility today.
According to government, the third consignment is a donation from the French government and will land in the country at 10pm.
