It is official.

Buganda Kingdom might just witness another royal wedding, after Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s glamourous affair 20 years.

In August, we reported that Flames Events boss, Gareth Onyango and Buganda princess Victoria Nkinzi were set to walk down the aisle.

This after news that close Onyango family members, including his mother had visited the Kabaka where Onyango received the Kabaka Mutebi’s blessing.

“This is the first step to regalising the two year relationship between the two lovers,” a source told Watchdog Uganda.

In June, Princess Nkinzi – the first daughter and second child of His Majesty Kabaka Mwenda Mutebi – organized a birthday party for Onyango which was attended by the former playboy’s close friends and another Buganda Kingdom Princess, Ssangalyambogo.

Prior to the do, Onyango was flown to Zanzibar and Dubai by the Princess who has been time and again reprimanded for hanging around not so royal people.

Now news has reached us that Princess Nkinzi’s has finally said YES after Onyango proposed while celebrating her birthday in Thailand on Wednesday.

A date is yet to be announced but Onyango’s friends have already started shopping for clothes.

Onyango has two children from two failed relationships. Both daughters live with their mothers – Natasha and Nikita Bachu.
