The youth have been urged to champion the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The call was made by the Ntungamo district LCV chairperson Denis Singahache while speaking during a dialogue between the district leaders,Health workers and member of Integrated Community based initiatives-ICOBI held at Ntungamo board room on Thursday.
Singahache revealed that HIV/AIDS scourge is a serious challenge in the district and the country as a whole and must be tackled with concerted efforts.
Singahache says that with the youth being among the most at risk age group, they must be in position to ensure that the disease does not spread any further.
Ntungamo district deputy health officer Beatrice Chemisto revealed that the district is focusing on ensuring that the youth friendly services are put in place.
