Abenakyo refuses to give out her phone number to male MPs

The reigning Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo was on Wednesday honoured by Parliamentarians for her outstanding performance at the 68th edition of the Miss World Pageant.

In December 2019, Abenakyo was crowned Miss World Africa after emerging third in the Miss World contest.

As MPs were discussing on the best way of appreciating the 23-year-old beauty queen, some male legislators were busy thinking about how they can make her their personal friend.

On behalf of his colleagues, Kigulu County South MP Andrew Kaluya requested, “Right Honourable Speaker, on behalf of most of the male MPs in this House who are underprivileged, they have suggested that they get a little bit familiar with her projects so that they can help the girl child. They have requested that through you Madam Speaker let Quiin Abenakyo give us her phone number so that we can help the girl child in our different constituencies.”

However, according to our impeccable sources, Abenakyo declined to give out her private mobile number saying it was unprofessional.

Her handlers at Miss Uganda Foundation however, reportedly instead gave out her business number to all MPs who cared to have it. This left many male legislators angry.
