Stella Njuba has passed on.
The daughter to former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) National Chairman the late Sam Njuba lost the battle to cancer on Friday night at Le Memorial Hospital in Lweza along Entebbe road.
Stella,55 was also a former parliamentary aspirant for Kyadondo East, a seat that is currently being held by musician turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
“The family is in grief following Stella’s death. She has been sick for a long time battling cancer and God has decided to take her at this time,” said Gertrude Njuba, mother of the deceased.
According to Daily Monitor, there will be a requiem service at the St Luke Ntinda Church of Uganda today at 3pm before the body is taken to their home at Nabugabo, Wakiso district for burials tomorrow.
The deceased is survived by three children.
