Two people died on spot after they were knocked by a speeding lorry.
The two, both motorcycle riders had a head on collusion with an approaching speeding truck registration number UBD 676F.
The accident occurred at Rushroza health centre four along Kabale Katuna highway on Wednesay afternoon.
One victim, Anthony Muhwezi, 25 years of Keitakombe village Bushuro parish Kitumba subcounty Kabale district was riding motorcycle registration number UEL 198M while the second victim whose particulars are not yet known was riding motorcycle registration number UEM 036A.
According to the Kigezi region Police spokesperson Elly maate, Police visited the scene and the bodies were taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem while the motorcycles were taken to Kabale police as the vehicle escaped.
This case has been registered at Kabale Central Police Station under file number TAR 47/2018.
