The Executive Director for Trustin Company Mr. Jorem Oitit has tipped Ugandan girls who are looking for jobs abroad to know key things that will enable them succeed in their quest for jobs.
Saying this, Oitit was addressing a press conference that was held at their offices in Kitintale, intended to update the world about the journey that he had while checking on the Ugandan girls who are working as maids abroad.
According to Oitit, many girls are not given the right information while questing for the jobs. He added that there are many Ugandans who are taken to countries which the government of Uganda does not accept.
“Uganda only accepts deployment of maids in two countries. That is Saudi Arabia and Jordan, ”Said Oitit
He added that during his stay in Jordan, he realized that the people there are either educated or not educated. Here he pointed out the problem of language barrier where most Ugandan girls who travel do not know Arabic but instead most of them speak English.
“We have tried to put in place training schools where Arabic is included on the syllabus to ease the work of our Uganda girls” Added Oitit
It is on this note that Oitit advised recruitment companies not to confuse the girls who want to work abroad by promising them bigger paying jobs.
Here he advised all Ugandan job seekers to use companies that are certified by the government through the ministry of gender, labor and social development.
Trustin company is one of the few accredited companies by the government to export labor to the outside world, fighting its level best to curb the problem of unemployment in the country.
