The Uganda Junior boxing team the bombers has been flagged off to represent Uganda in the world women and men boxing championship that is going to take place in Budapest Hungary.
These were flagged off by the Assistant General Secretary for the National Council of Sports Mr Zubair Galiwango who urged the boxers to keep the Ugandan flag high.
Galiwango said that he is very happy with the Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) under the leadership of Moses Muhangi, the current UBF president for always opening up doors for the ugandan talent.
On thiss note he urged the boxers not to let anyone utilise their chance since this is the right time for them to shine.
“You must know that this is your right time to shine. If you let your chance go away just like that,you will never recover it.” Noted Galiwaango
The function was also embraced by the UBF president Moses Muhangi who urged the bombers to fight tooth and nail in order to achieve the best.
“You know the way I always do my things as president. I award medals heavily. So go and get them.” Said Muhangi
The function was held at the UBF offices in Lugogo and the team was sponsored by the NCS which managed to pay for the tickets of the players.
