Buganda Kingdom Premier Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga has unveiled some events that will be part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of King Ronald Mutebi come the the 31st of July 2018.
The Kingdom will first of all have a special guest the King of the highly respected Asante Kingdom in Ghana gracing the occasion in the Lubiri while at the same time, the Kingdom will unveil its official mineral water brand which will be called Olwendo.
The mineral water is part of the many business ventures the kingdom is starting to boost its revenue and it will be officially launched by the Kabaka. The Katikiro will also for the first time officially enter his Butikiro offices as part of the celebrations as they will also be opened by the King.
Mayiga said that Buganda and the Asante Kingdom of Ghana share a common history as Kabaka Mwanga and the then Asante King were both exiled in Seychelles by the colonialists building a bond while there shared by the two Kingdoms to date.
