Kiboga Young have emerged the new Buganda Region League champions after defeating  Luweero United 3-1 at Uganda Martyrs’ Ssonde on Sunday 20th May 2018.

As Kiboga Young was crowned Buganda Region champion, Synergy, Greater Masaka and Simba were relegated from Big league and will join Buganda region league next season. The club’s emphatic 3-1 win over Luweero at Ssonde left Kiboga with only one opponent, Katwe United of Kampala region to determine who joins Big League next season.

Kiboga’s Isaac Otto scored a brace and another goal from Jude Ssemugabi before Luweero’s Bright Kone Kisampamuugu pulled one back. Katwe will travel to Kiboga on Wednesday and the return leg slated for Sunday in Kampala. Earlier, Dyanamic SS, Jeza were crowned champions of Buganda Women League.
