UBSA Awards several winners in the 2018 beach soccer league

The Uganda Beach Soccer Association has awarded winners of the various categories in the just concluded national beach soccer league.

The function was at Mutoola Resort Beach in Mukono, where finals between KIU and ISABETI were played to make ISABETI this year’s champions.

Swaibu Kakwaya, Allan Kayiwa x3, Roch Somoka,Hamim Semakula x2 and Rica Byaruhanga managed to score for ISABETI as Eshioke Isaac,Babu Bashir,Muwonge Experito scored for KIU to give the game a final result of 8:3 in favor of ISABETI.

During the awarding ceremony, Eshioke Isaac from KIU emerged as MVP, Somoka Roch from Isabeti won the golden boot,golden gloves by Kirya Samson from stomers,goal of the year by lwesibawa Godfrey from stomers as Isa AAsiimwe emerged as the best coach. Kenny Kawagga was the best referee and the journalist of the year became Denis Bbosa

The chairman for UBSA Mr Deo Mutabaazi thanked all teams for the commitment that they have shown ever since the kick off of the season.

“I want to thank all teams for your commitment. You have done us great.” Noted Mutabaazi.

He however called upon partners to join him in boosting the game since the only source of funds is FUFA which is also not enough to run the league.
