A letter from President Yoweri Museveni begging for financial assistance from renowned city loaded businessmen under Kwagalana Group has leaked.
In a letter dated 29 April, 2018, Museveni who also serves as chairman of the ruling party NRM told the Kwagalana Group members that irrespective of winning both the 2016 general and local government elections, they have by elections and new elections in new electoral areas such as Rukiga of which they all need money.
Museveni told the businessmen that they also need buildup funds for the future general elections.
On this note, the president asked the Kwagalana Group members to contribute towards the party’s cause.
