The business community in Kiyindi, Buikwe district have donated three acres of land to Uganda Police Force to construct a new Police Station in the area.
This was revealed during a meeting between the Regional Police Commander, Ssezibwa SSP Suzan Nalwoga and the business community on April 13, 2018.
While addressing the meeting also attended by Regional Human Resources Officer, ASP Sebalu and Regional Community Liaison Officer Zania Dhamusange, the RPC commended residents for the donation. She pledged that the Force will build the station as soon as possible in a bid to serve the people.
The station will provide security to the landing site and surrounding areas including Lake Victoria.
