Boxing body takes clubs to another level with first ever retreat

The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) has taken boxers for a two days retreat to find better means of moving the game to another level.

The boxers have spent two good days at Maria Flo Hotel Masaka where the body President Moses Muhangi advised all club chairmen to find all means so that they can bring club fans back to the game.

He also advised all clubs to make sure they follow the federation calendar to enable them develop with the mother body.

The president also promised referees courses which will enable the game to move in accordance with its new amendments.

“By July we should have had a referees course. If we don’t have it then you have to ask”. Said Muhangi.

The function was attended by all club stakeholders as well as well wishers of the game.

Meanwhile the national boxing team was given five slots for players who are to represent Uganda in the forth coming Commonwealth games.
