Vipers Sports Club has qualified for the round of 16 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup after defeating Police 3-1 during the round of 32 on Saturday at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Police took the lead on 2 minutes but Vipers quickly responded through Milton Karisa’s 9th minute goal.
Erisa Ssekisambu and Daniel Sserunkuma put the game to bed as Vipers booked a slot in the round of 16.
At the Boma play ground in Hoima, record winners Express fell to home side, Kitara 4-3 in post match penalties.
Normal time of this exciting game had ended one goal apiece.
Former Express player Derrick Tekkwo canceled out Alfred Leku’s first half opener for the Red Eagles and forced the post match penalties.
