Reigning cup league champions Kawempe Muslim S.S started in style with a 2-0 victory at home against Muteesa I Royal University.
Asia Nakibuuka scored a brace in the game.
The other game between Rines S.S and Ajax Queens ended in a one all stalemate.
Annet Namwenge was on target for Ajax Queens while Halima Nanteza replied for Rines S.S
The women Elite League continues on Sunday, 11th February 2018 with 5 matches.
She Corporate is at home against Western United at MUBS, She Mak entertains Uganda Martyrs Lubaga at Makerere and Eastern Heroes shall host Olila Women in Soroti.
Meanwhile, UCU Lady Cardinals will play host to Wakiso Hills at the UCU Main Campus in Mukono.
Kampala Queens is at home to Isra Soccer Academy at Villa Park.
