Kampala Capital City Authority enforcement officers together with Kampala Police and Crime Preventers on Wednesday carried out joint operations aimed at flashing out wrong elements that sabotage the smooth running of KCCA Law enforcement activities.

This operation was aimed at wiping out hard cores and hoodlums who have made it hectic for KCCA teams to enforce city laws.

It should be noted that while enforcing their ordinance laws these particular suspects have been helping or participating in aiding suspects to escape and disrupting KCCA officers on duty.

Hill Water

On an annual record 64 law enforcers have been stoned, beaten and subsequently incapacitating them while executing their duties. This is indeed a message to saboteurs that law enforcement and security role players are watching and monitoring all their moves.

The operation led to the arrest of over 78 suspects out of which 58 have been arraigned before the magistrate’s Court at City Hall and remanded for 3 months at Luzira Prison on Thursday.

Kampala Police teaming up to support KCCA Law enforcement officers in these operations is a clear indication of the teamwork and synergy that exists among all the key players and this brings hope of impacting positively in the daily activities city.
