Vipers Sports club travel to Western Uganda where they will be facing Mbarara city today Friday seeking to return to their winning ways.
Miguel Da Costa’s side has not won in their last three Azam Uganda premier league encounters.
They lost 2-1 to Police ,drew 1-1 at home with Soana before registering a barren draw with Onduparaka.
The Venoms come into this game with a disappointing form and therefore must win to stay in contention of the league title.
A win for the Venoms will not only see them close the gap on table leaders Police FC but also boast their confidence ahead of their next home game against Kirinnya Jinja on Tuesday.
The last meeting between the two sides was in the pre season where Mousa Mbayi scored for Vipers in the second half to make sure the game ends 1-1.
Meanwhile, it is most likely that Da Costa will make a few changes in his squad.
Milton Karisa who is the team’s leading scorer is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards.
Tonny Odur,Erisa Ssekisambu and Mousa Mbayi will therefore be tasked with looking for goals.
Tadeo Lwanga is back after shaking off a leg injury. The combative midfielder missed the Onduparaka tie with Deus Bukenya playing the holding role.
Hassan Kalega is out with a groin problem while Duncan Seninde will wait to make his debut.
