Vipers Sports Club put up a resilient performance to earn a point against Onduparaka FC in the game played at Greenlight stadium in Arua.
In a thrilling encounter played on Saturday, both teams had moments in the game with Vipers getting the better chances of the game.
The venoms had chances to take lead in the opening quarter of the game but Tonny Odur and Milton Karisa failed to convert from Tom Masiko’s delivery from free kicks.
Manager Miguel Da Costa was forced to make a change five minutes to half time with Odur limping off after a collision with an Onduparaka player.
His place was taken up by Congolese forward Moussa Clovis Mbayi.
In the second half, the Venoms continued to make several attempts with Karisa and Masiko getting close to breaking the deadlock.
The game eventually ended goalless with goalkeeper Ismael Watenga making saves.
The result means Vipers remain third on the log with 12 points in seven games.
They travel West next week on Friday to take on Mbarara City FC.
