The police in Kisoro are hunting for a group of people who masterminded mob action in the area .
Murder by mob was registered under vide SD 07/25/10/2017 of Kyanika police station.
The deceased is yet to be identified.
He is a male adult approximately 25 years old.
According to Regional Police Spokesman Elly Matte, the incident happened at 15:45pm, when a suspected thief was mobbed to death by unknown people.
The deceased was reportedly caught stealing Irish potatoes in Gahuru village, Rutare Parish in Chachi Sub County.
The deceased body was later abandoned in a garden of Steven Semitwe.
“The Police scene of crime officers have visited the scene. The body has been taken to Kisoro Hospital for postmortem examination,as further inquiries go on.
The Police has therefore cautioned the public against taking the law into their own hands.
