Prime murder suspect Matthew Kanyamunyu is today expected to appear High Court Judge Wilson Kwesiga for his bail application hearing.
This is going to be the fourth time that High Court seats to hear Kanyamunyu’s bail application with the first three attempts having been dismissed by judges Elizabeth Kabanda and Yasin Nyanzi.
In his fourth bail application, Kanyamunyu grounds his application on bail being his constitutional right and having spent months on remand minus a trial kicking off.
The Executive Director Quantum Express Logistics is accused of murdering social worker Kenneth Akena in November last year.
Other suspects, his girlfriend Cynthia Muwangaria, his brother Joseph Kanyamunyu were earlier granted bail.
