Vipers will try to keep the league momentum when they visit new comers Masavu FC at their home in Bugonga on Tuesday evening.

Jorge Miguel Da Costa’s team has so far had a good start, earning seven points from the three games played.

They drew 0-0 with Bright Stars before registering two straight home wins over Bul FC and arch rivals SC Villa.

The performance has seen them go joint log leaders with Police FC which has a superior goal difference.

In his reaction towards this encounter, Da Costa said, ‘ we have gathered some momentum and the boys are improving with each game.

‘We are going to push our opponent harder for the best results and hopefully all goes well.’

Masavu may have made their debut in the top flight league this season but they are not strange opponent to the Venoms.

The two sides have met twice in friendly build up games and Vipers won 2-0 at Wankulukuku before drawing away at Bugonga.

Meanwhile the hosts will head into this tie in a buoyant mood after picking an away win over Proline last week but Da Costa’s charges are more determined to improve their away performance this season if they are to keep their title quest realistic.
