As the age limit debate intensifies, Police have ordered all fuel dealers at every pump station in and outside Kampala to abstain from selling fuel to customers with jerrycans and other forms of containers other than fuel tanks of motor vehicles or cycles.

The police mouth piece AIGP Asan Kasingye says they have received credible intelligence that there some wrong people in and outside the city who wish to cause violence and even commit arson.

He has called upon all people planning to get involved in the unlawful acts to change their minds since their acts are aimed at causing harm to people’s lives and property.

Meanwhile, security is heightened in the city ahead of the controversial age limit bill which is going to be tabled today by NRM MPs led by Igara West County MP Raphael Magezi.

So far Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has been arrested and FDC’s Kizza Besigye’s home condoned to bar them from their planned procession.
