Cairo based Ugandan fans were at the Airport to welcome the Uganda Cranes contingent while Leader of Delegation who travelled well ahead of the team Hamid Juma was alos at the airport.

‘We plan to have a training session later today at 5.30pm but I need my players to rest. We are in good shape for the stay here as we plan for the game against Egypt’ said Head coach Moses Basena who will miss the services of coach Matia Lule who couldn’t make the trip.

‘The Head coach will miss Matia Lule who couldn’t readily avail his passport for the trip. It was a challenge to get his travel document as he had presented it to one of the Embassies for travel and could be released in time’ said FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein.

FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo also traveled with the team to the North African Country for the match.
