Top editors, journalists among 281 lined up for three parliament jobs interviews

Next week will see top editors and journalists who are tired of life in the newsrooms go for cutthroat job hunt to join Parliamentary service.

Over 20 editors and seasons journalists applied for three slots to fill the position of assistant editor of the Hansard, a record of parliament that captures proceedings of the House.

So, next week, the 281 applicants who were shortlisted will be sitting for their aptitude tests.

The newsroom that will be most affected by the tests will be New Vision which has at least two editors and 10 sub editors who will excuse themselves from the newsroom to sit the Parliament Aptitude tests.

Daily Monitor also has a number who have applied as well as the defunct WBS, understandably.
