Celebrated movie translator Marysmats Matovu commonly known as VJ Junior has been granted a shs5 million cash bail today by Buganda Road Court Judge Jamson Kalemani.
On Tuesday, Ethics and Integrity minister Fr. Simon Lokodo ordered for the arrest of VJ Junior accusing him of distributing pornographic content and posting photos of members of Uganda Film Producers Association in a WhatsApp group & referred to them as pigs after a heated conversation on production and distribution of films which Uganda Film Producers Association says is piracy.
During the court hearing today, Justice Kalemani charged the movie translator with cyber harassment and offensive communication.
However, he was granted bail and he adjourned the case to 12 June 2017.
