The Kampala city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has mourned the death of his office assistant who succumbed to a fatal accident.
Lukwago who is currently out of the country posted on his social media expressing his deep sorrow regarding the death of Mayanja Godfrey.
Mayanja was knocked dead on Tuesday by a speeding trailer at Kyengera and he died on spot.
“Have just received shocking and terrible news that my office Assistant, Godfrey Mayanja was involved in a fatal accident and died instantly. Oh Lord, I can’t believe it!!. A very brilliant, humble and hardworking young man. Kitalo nyo. I’m currently in New York enroute to Mexico for a United Nations convention. Kitalo nyo nyo..” Lukwago posted.
