Kampala capital city authority (KCCA) has warned people to keep their pets like dogs confined before they become a threat to the public.
Through its twitter handle KCCA tweeted that all people with dogs should keep them confined before their veterinary doctors put them to sleep.
KCCA said that it will put all stray dogs to sleep before causing danger to the general public.
“Our veterinary teams will be out to put to sleep all STRAY dogs to protect the public against their danger. Please keep your dogs confined!” KCCA tweeted.
However people said that many of them cant confine dogs for eternity as KCCA said that the exercise will be permanent and others walk their dogs in places where veterinary doctors leave the poised meat.
KCCA also advised people to leash their dogs while walking them to avoid danger.
