Bwaya said that the WCE day’s purpose is to promote ethical culture in Uganda using home grown tools and solutions and also promote ethical work culture in different sectors and the benefits that accrue from practicing ethical work cultures.

“Institutions or individuals will send the names of those workers whom they want to be awarded which they think they are exhibiting ethical work cultures and the reasons why they think that way,” Bwaya said.

He added that the awards will be given to public recognized institutions or organizations and individuals that will have won the exemplary ethical work exhibitions of what organizations are doing to promote ethical work culture and the benefits they are enjoying from such practices.

“We shall craft the definition of ethical work culture by Ugandans and set criteria for selection of organizations and individuals that exhibit desired characteristics,” Bwaya added.

Bwaya further added that they will start receiving nominations and objections to exemplary organizations and individuals from 15th may to 15th June 2017 through logging onto their website www.iworkculture.com to participate.

Addition to that Bwaya said that the guest of honor will be the Uganda Prime Minister Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda.
