“The operation was a success with the baby born alive but she went critical when she started bleeding constantly leading doctors to admit her in the intensive care unit,” Henry Kitakule the minister of information at Kyambogo University said.

Kyomugisha’s condition worsened on Easter Sunday when she started bleeding through the nose.

“We are deeply saddened by her death at such a time when she was supposed to be finishing her exams and waiting for the graduation,” Kitakule added.

Kyomugisha was laid to rest today at exactly 4pm in Rukungiri district.
