Magogo, Walusimbi row takes new twist as Police Officer shoots self at Fufa House

A police officer has Wednesday morning shot and injured himself in a scuffle between the Moses Magogo and Dan Walusimbi factions  at Fufa House in Mengo.

Bernard Ibanda, an officer from Lungujja police post reportedly shot himself thrice in the thigh after the Walusimbi faction invaded Fufa House during a weekly press briefing.

Its alleged that the officer had already corked the gun when the Walusimbi group attacked and in the scuffle, he accidentally pulled the trigger shooting himself 3 times in thigh.

The Walusimbi faction claims that Magogo led Fufa leadership is illegitimate and should be chased out of Fufa House and on several occasions have raided the headquarters.
