Tabliq moslems give Police a seven day ultimatum to return taken property from Nakasero Mosque

Tabliq sect Moslems at Nakasero Mosque have given IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura and his men a seven day ultimatum to return the property taken from the mosque in the 2016 raid or wait for consequences.

According to the tabliqs they don’t know why police had to take their property in disquise of evidence yet they had done nothing wrong.

In December 2016, a combined team of police and officers from the Joint Anti- Terrorism Task Force (JATT) raided Nakasero Mosque on Plot 4 Snay bin Amin Street in Kampala.

The officers stormed Nakasero mosque in the wee hours of a
Tuesday morning and ransacked it.

According toHabib Buwembo, one of the spokespersons at Nakasero, the officers broke into the mosque offices and picked up computers and vital documents.

Over 11 of moslems who were guarding the Mosque were also arrested and taken to Nalufenya prison in Jinja though they were released at a later stage.
