On Monday, police in Lira arrested Monitor Newspaper journalist Hudson Apunyo and charged him with contempt of Court order.
Apunyo was detained but after some time he was released on police bond.
According to the journalist, he was arrested for reporting the truth.
“Way to the dungeon of Lira CPS cell for reporting the truth. The power of money at work,” Apunyo stated.
