Mary R Mugyenyi is the former Member of Parliament for Nyabushozi County. She is among the outstanding politicians who have expressed their interests in the East Africa Legislative Assembly seats.
Here are some of the things you didn’t know about the superlative lady;
1.Mugyenyi holds a Masters degree in Education from Dalhousie University, Canada and a Bachelors in Politics and Administration from Makerere University.
2.Mugyenyi is a wife of the former Bank of Uganda Governor Joshua Amugyenyi.
3.She is a two-term legislator in the Ugandan parliament after representing Nyabushozi County in the 7th and 8th parliament from 2001 to 2011.
4.Currently, she is the Vice Chairperson for Uganda Management Institute Council and a lecturer at Makerere University.
5.She is also served as state minister for Agriculture.
6.She is the brain behind the Nshenyi Culture Village,a community based tourism initiative based in Ntugamo district.
