Kagina’s UNRA impounds 300 cars over bad driving on Masaka Road

Uganda National Roads Authority together with Uganda traffic Police have impounded at least 291 vehicles on Masaka road over bad driving.

UNRA said on its twitter that “291drivers have been apprehended for violation of traffic laws &regultns on K’la-Masaka rd #FikaSalama |”Reach Safe”.”

Yuasa

UNRA says that the objective of Operation #FikaSalama is to reduce road carnage and change in road user behaviour on highways.

The operation has been piloted on Masaka road which has reported more accidents than any other road in Uganda.

UNRA under Allen Kagina has been active in its mandate to ensure the roads are used sustainably.
