President Yoweri Museveni has directed the Ministry of Education and Sports to identify any un-used Vocational Institute within the Central Region of Uganda that can be used by the Korean Good News Gangnam Church IYF founder so that the organization is enabled to start its Mind-Set Education Ministry as it also works to build its premises later.

The President was this afternoon meeting with the Ministry of Education and Sports officials, who were led by their Minister Hon. Janet Museveni and a delegation from the Good News Gangnam Church led by their senior Pastor, the Rev. Ock Soo Park. The meeting took place at State House, Entebbe.

”Ministry of Education officials should find any free Vocational Institution within Central Region and give to them so that they can start from there and built theirs later,” he said.

The Good News Gangnam Church South Korea Church is in Uganda to establish a training wing specifically to teach and impart to the Ugandan youth aspects of technical vocational knowledge that can be used to change the youth mind to always be optimistic to attain success in all their undertakings as regards development so that they are not lured into acts of wrong doing.

The Ministry of Education and Sports has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Good News Gangnam Church Ministry to include the Mind-Set programme in the education curriculum in Uganda.

During the meeting, two choir members from the Good News Gangnam Church entertained the President with a song in both English and Luganda.
