Another Da Nu Eagles band member, Henry Mwanje has quit the band over reasons he preferred to keep out of media.

Mwanje has been signed under singers Geoffrey Lutaaya and wife Irene Namatovu’s band for over five years, after emerging among the winners of Da Nu Eagles talent search that happened in 2014.

Following the fame attained after songs like Awululu, Togumenya, Abalya mere among others, Mwanje took it out on social media to share the news of his exit, claiming that he now wants to try out his luck as a solo artiste.

“Hullo my lovely fans and friends. I have made this post to inform you that am no longer in Da Nu Eagles Band, for those who love Henry Mwanje, keep supporting me #Bambi in Fresh Kids voice. But I want to thank Basically Papa Geoffrey Lutaaya and Da Nu Eagle Team at large for being there for me for all this time, Thank you so much guys, “he said.

Mwanje was among the five artistes who included Bettina Namukasa, Grace Khan, Jovan Luzinda, and Sasha Brighton that the band leaders unveiled as they were making their debut. This after partying ways with Eagles Production Band.

So far, the band has remained with only two Namukasa and Luzinda who are still signed under the band as others decided to concentrate on solo career.
