Around this time last year, Bebe Cool was kicked off from the stage by an irate audience during Swangz Avenue’s All Star concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Then, the ‘Agenze’ singer blamed the incident on Bobi Wine’s People Power supporters, claiming that they hit him with bottles because he is an NRM supporter.

Fast forward, struggling singer Ibrahim Mayanja alias Big Eye has advised show organisers to separate politics from music after he was allegedly stopped from performing because his blood is yellow.

Hill Water

This incident happened during Calvin Da Entertainer’s Takeover Party at Freedom City over the weekend.

Calvin was celebrating 11 years in the entertainment industry.

And apparently, the Nfaamu singer is accusing the show organizers of involving politics in music shows, and denying him a chance to perform because of their difference in political ideologies.

According to the singer through his social media platform on Tuesday, the organizers intentionally switched off the microphone when he stepped on stage.

“I have got information that the people who blocked me from performing at Freedom City because am NRM are putting up a fake story to cover up the real story. But you people should get serious, this is not a joking matter. ‘Separate politics from our shows’. You can’t stop me because of my political choice and you think it’s a joke,” he said.

Seems he won’t be the last since several musicians now have a political side.
