Fresh Kid’s mother rubbishes ex-lover: You never made money in 40 years, you cannot now

Just when we thought that things are going on well with Patrick Senyonjo or Fresh Kid, news reaching us is that the child star is now caught up in the middle of family drama.

On Tuesday, Fresh Kid’s mother Madrine Namata cried out for government help, claiming that his father – Paul Mutabaazi – has ‘kidnapped’ their seven-year-old son in exchange for a car, a house and business.

Namata claims that Mutabaazi took Fresh Kid from Kawempe where he has been residing with his manager Francis Kamoga, arguing that he will only return him when his demands are fulfilled.

“He says that I and manager Francis enjoy the biggest amount of money made off Fresh Kid’s shows which is not true. Ever since our son became a star, the father stopped working claiming that he cannot work when his son is a celebrity,” Namata said.

During an interview with nbs, Namata alleged that she doesn’t understand how her ex-lover, who abandoned his son (Fresh Kid) when she was still pregnant, resurfaced again just to cause such a big scene on his child’s success.

“I struggled to raise my son single-handedly, and if money is all he needs let him be paid and bring my child back. That man doesn’t even know what the child needs on a daily basis, let him give me my child, I raise him, and I’ll give him back when he grows. For a man who never made any money in 40 or so years, why does he think he can make money now?”

Namata claims that all she needs is full custody of her son, now on a full scholarship at Kampala Parents School, and called for government intervention to protect Fresh Kid and his manager from her greedy ex-lover, because the singer might end up losing everything in this saga.
