Singer Moses Ssali famously known as Bebe Cool is on spot for assaulting a music producer over his political affiliation.

Vince Musisi is accusing Bebe Cool of pouring a glass of alcohol in his face because he supports People Power.

People Power is a political movement headed by musician turned into politician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine. The movement is so popular amongst Uganda’s young citizens who are the majority of the population.

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Musisi who formerly worked at Swangz Avenue said while celebrating his Birthday at La Paroni’s a few days ago, he met the ‘Katono’ singer and his colleagues at the same night spot when he decided to rub shoulders with them.

“It was the usual fun filled moments at that place, then later there was a table behind us and I saw familiar faces like #JoshGagamel a trumpeter who I’ve worked with before and other colleagues of his, I greeted them and saw #Moses (BEBE COOL) after greeting the whole table, I didn’t think much of our political differences at that moment because it doesn’t matter when we meet for Music or social reasons just like how I work with Balaam who supports NRM and I don’t but we are brothers,” recounted Musisi.

A jolly moment turned out to be a sour experience when Musisi finally greeted Bebe Cool; little did he know that the singer does not entertain company from any person belonging to People Power.

Vince Musisi

“Out of respect for a great musician and big brother I stood in front of #Bebecool and said, “Moses How are you” … He was on his phone and looked up then he didn’t respond , but grabbed a glass full of alcohol (liquor) and poured in my face bwe chwa. (I’ve recorded music and worked with Moses before at Swangz in muyenga when he was a client )  I couldn’t see anything for seconds but then I saw Josh and he said “Omusajja munyiivu tobaako kyokola[the man is annoyed do not try doing anything],

Days later after Kyamagero ‘s intro I shared with Mr Balaam and a friend of Moses who later called him out on this issue and he responded ” Oyo wa PEOPLE POWER  tombulira[That guy belongs to People Power, I don’t want to know],” said Musisi.

This post is about my safety and mpozzi fb memories.

On Friday 12th April, (My Birthday ) which y’all made so special (Thanks for the Love ) , my  brothers of #JanziBand Took me out to their show at Route 256 and Club 40/40 Kololo for celebrations then later my young brother Salvado took me and my nephew to La Paroni’s – Kampala for a treat (Thanks MFO) . It was the usual fun filled moments at that place, then later there was a table behind us and I saw familiar faces like #JoshGagamel a trumpeter who I’ve worked with before and other colleagues of his, I greeted them and saw #Moses (BEBE COOL) after greeting the whole table, I didn’t think much of our political differences at that moment because it doesn’t matter when we meet for Music or social reasons just like how I work with Balaam who supports NRM and I don’t but we are brothers .  Out of respect for a great musician and big brother I stood infront of #Bebecool and said, “Moses How are you” … He was on his phone and looked up then he didn’t respond , but grabbed a glass full of alcohol (liquor) and poured in my face bwe chwa. (I’ve recorded music and worked with Moses before at Swangz in muyenga when he was a client )  I couldn’t see anything for seconds but then I saw Josh and he said “Omusajja munyiivu tobaako kyokola” that’s when I turned to look for Salvado and ask him for water to clean up then later Patrick(Salvado) said “enkuba etonnya lets go enjoy it outside before we go ”  I’ve never abused Moses or try any physical response because nze ngomuntu wawansi ssirwana oba kuyomba na bansinga. I called  former boss and friend Julius Kyazze to tell him and he said “sorry, naye kasita oli mulamu” . But days later after Kyamagero ‘s intro I shared with Mr Balaam and a friend of Moses who later called him out on this issue and he responded ” Oyo wa PEOPLE POWER  tombulira” I let it go out of respect . I don’t support NRM but I don’t hate individuals who support it (my mother is NRM). My God and my skill sets have been everything i stand for and  my country. I love UG (the country) and it’s people .  Naye the next weekend I heard that my brother Ray Supasta was insulted on commands of Moses at the beach during Balam’s show by security operatives and one had a pistol. Because he also doesn’t agree with the regime … threats like  “we have more guns in the car” nebirala

But I’ve also followed Ray’s banter on Bebe cool and his family ,( I would be mad at Ray too . BABE COOL’S family should never be a topic or an angle of attack in our struggles for  change.)    later Mr Balaam saved the day (Thanks bro) . Iam sharing this because it’s now starting to happen to more people in the industry that oppose this regime and exposing lies. I’ve never abused Bebecool or disrespected his family and music (which I like and helped make some ) .  Keeping quiet  empowers oppressors and more threats on our lives as people with different political opinions about my country. Thank you Bobi Kyagulanyi and Bugingo Hannington for always reminding me to speak of injustices .  Ajje ayogere kyennamukola ekiri personal

Banange if anything happens to me, Musoke kubuuza musajja oyo nze sirina tabbu na muntu okujjako Uber.
