Singer turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has told his supporters that the highly anticipated Kyarenga concert will happen any time soon whether at Namboole or any other else.
Bobi Wine’s consolation remarks come hot on the heels of Mandela (Namboole) Stadium management’s cancellation of the concert for the second time.
In a strong worded Facebook post, the Kyadondo East MP said he is not surprised that his show has been cancelled again since the stadium administrators have been under pressure orchestrated by the government and they were ordered not to host the music show.
He claims that government even reached an extent of sending threatening messages to some of the stadium administrators all in the name of stopping his show.
Bobi Wine further alleges that government is doing everything possible to block all his businesses and sources of income.
However, the legislator says no matter what, his kyarenga album launch must happen whether at Namboole or somewhere else.
He signed out by warning Namboole stadium administrators, FUFA officials and others that they should not allow to be used in dirty games since Ugandans are watching and very soon they may be held accountable.

Today evening, the management of Mandela National Stadium once again cancelled Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga concert that was rescheduled to November 9.
Earlier, the singer had planned to hold the show in the stadium on October 20.
But Namboole stadium management said there would be a wedding on that date.
Police also claimed the Kyadondo East MP and leader of People Power Movement had not sought permission in line with Public Order Management Act.
But on October 17, Namboole stadium management and Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga concert manager Emma Serugo agreed to push the event to November 9 — albeit with some tough conditions.
But all the sudden, the stadium management has cancelled the show again saying they received a complaint from FUFA on what may happen to the stadium in case the concert is held.
FUFA wrote a letter dated October 17th warning the management of Namboole stadium that should anything go wrong in the stadium which is already under watch by CAF, putting it below the accepted standards, Uganda Cranes may have its points cut off by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) which is the continental football governing body.
“It has come to the Federation notice that Mandela National Stadium Management has entered into an agreement to have a public event take place on 9th November 2018 with in the stadium. In our opinion any event within the international football match period will put the stadium into an unacceptable standard to the detriment of CAF docking off points from Uganda Cranes” FUFA said in the letter to Namboole management.
Uganda Cranes will be hosting the Cape Verde Crioulos on November 17th in an AFCON 2019 Cameroon qualifier game, the game which if Uganda wins, will automatically qualify for the next year’s biggest continental football tournament, African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
