MP Bobi Wine now ‘Highest paid musician, given shs20m to perform only 2 songs on a wedding

Every now and then good things are continuing to flow towards the new Kyadondo East Parliament elect Kyagulanyi Sentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine.

We all understand that this lucky guy will be pocketing shs25 million monthly salary as a Member of Parliament and now information reaching our desk indicates that Bobi Wine is likely to become the highest paid Ugandan musician on events due to his escalated social status.

Last weekend, the bikwase kyagulanyi singer was hired by a city tycoon Ssembatya Mulundannume to perform on his son’s wedding and guess what he was paid a whooping shs20 million to sing only two songs.

In short, each song was performed at shs10million.

Ssembatya is the owner of Ssembatya Arcade which is located in Nabugabo
