Yesterday Capital Radio sent off Alexander Ndawula (Alex) into retirement. The station organized a farewell party for their longest serving employee at Capital Radio gardens outside their premises.
For the last three weeks Alex has been off air. His programs Dance Force (Saturday 8pm until late) and Sundowner (6pm to 7pm) have just been playing music.
According to Kakensa Media, the management has given him permission and a retainer to keep coming to the station until NSSF clears his savings which will probably be done by January next year.
Ndawula has worked on Radio for more than 20 years.
