Faded city tycoon, Jamil Sentongo is behind bars for allegedly mismanaging over $12 million which was meant for charity work.

Sentongo was arrested along with his wife Mariam Kalumba (daughter to Masaka tycoon Kalumba) and his brother last week. The trio was detained at Central Police Station ( CPS).

According to reports, Sentongo got the money in phases from the US charity to construct schools in Masaka. It is not clear how he spent all that money without atleast using part of it to the purpose it was meant.

Unfortunately, the money bag used the solicited money for his lavish lifestyle. He used to splash cash like there was no tomorrow.

At one time, Sentongo was dating singer Remah Namakula but the relationship was short lived since he opted to marry Kalumba.
