If you don’t love and accept yourself – No one else will. Don’t wait for people to validate your worth. That may never happen. Stop trying to validate your love through other people.
Why does it take someone else loving you to validate you? What happened to knowing your own worth? What happened to you knowing that you can be a blessing in anyone’s life whether you know them well or not?
Sometimes we are so driven to be accepted that we neglect recognizing our own beauty. No one will ever love your scars better than you can. No one will ever love your flaws better than you can. No one will ever be able to lift you better than you can.
It’s time that we get back to truly understanding our worth. It’s time that we stop settling and begin raising the bar with what we desire from other people.
Don’t let anyone else put a price tag on your love and your worth. Love who you are because at the end of the day, no one will be able to do that better than you.
